Insulation: Unmatched Comfort and Warmth

To embrace the coldest days of winter, these boots are designed with a sophisticated multi-layer inner boot system that features cutting-edge technology. The Thermawick™ lining, known for its exceptional breathability and thermal regulation, keeps your feet cozy and dry. A form fitting B-Tek™ Foam lining wraps your feet in unmatched comfort, while B-Tek™ Heat lightweight, 4-channel hollow-fibre insulation ensures optimal breathability and warmth across varying temperatures. For added protection, the boots are equipped with a waterproof breathable membrane, effectively shielding your feet from water and snow while maintaining dryness and comfort.

Real-World Tested™: Tundra Rated:

ICE HERO is Real-World Tested™* (RWT™) Tundra Rated, made to withstand harsh environments including hardy winds and serious cold where uneven terrains and diverse conditions are endured. From plunging temperatures to deep snowfalls, the Hero Collection provides comfort for those experiencing the coldest season, no matter the hemisphere. Cold comfort is best achieved with moderate to high levels of activity and has been proven by Baffin at latitudes and altitudes during Canadian winters.

Lightweight Support and Waterproof Breathability

Classified as B-Tek™ Dry Waterproof Breathable, a powerful waterproof technology, offering high wet protection with increased breathability, ICE HERO is intentionally breathable for outdoor activity, where elements such as rain and melting snow are present. ICE HERO is waterproof from the base to the collar and protects from wetness, while supporting comfortable movement.

Comfort and Protection

Featuring a mid-height upper made of waterproof leather with breathable membrane and a comfort padded top collar, ICE HERO has a waterproof side zipper allows for quick access and corrosion resistant lacing for a secure fit. Complemented by a convenient pull loop at the back for ease of entry, this boot is made for urgent situations.

Fortified Performance and Advanced Traction

Designed to inspire confidence and firm in every step, ICE HERO incorporates Baffin’s IceBite™ Grip for greater slip-resistance than conventional rubber. A reinforced rubber toe guard provides additional protection and is matched with a Thermoplastic Polyurethane external heel counter.

Built for demanding emergency situations, the outsole is crafted from oil and acid-resistant rubber and features a flexible tread pattern for enhanced traction. For optimal warmth at the base of the boot, ICE HERO has a thermal insole with aluminum reflective layer waffle-comb footbed and for optimal comfort, the midsole is made from Lightweight Polyurethane.

ICE HERO (STP) contains a Steel Safety Toe and Plate and is CSA/ASTM approved and ESR/EH rated. It has been tested in accordance to Z195-14 for Coefficient of Friction (COF) on Quarry tile/stainless steel/wet and dry surfaces, at room temperature and cold climate conditions.
