Meet Sidney Durante (Marketing Coordinator at Baffin) - an important member of the Marketing Team. She enjoys cottage season and spending her time outside. Sidney is constantly outdoors, no matter the weather, making protection from the elements and comfort key in her footwear.
Sidney’s love for weekend getaways and spending time by Muskoka Lakes has given her the perfect opportunity to test one of Baffin’s rubber boots, PRIME, in varying conditions. Throughout the summer, Sidney has spent her weekends Real-World Testing™ PRIME in the Muskoka region and has given us insight into one specific outing.
After a couple of days of extreme weather at the cottage, Sidney was ready to spend the rest of her weekend actively outdoors and performing a variety of activities. She went through some local trails, spent her time gardening, and in shallow waters fishing, all while sporting her PRIME boots. This was the perfect time for her to test them since she needed to keep her feet protected from different elements, including mud, dirt and shallow waters.
“By the time I got my feet through dirt, mud, and shallow water, PRIME had kept my feet entirely dry. Not only were they comfortable to wear but they were also super easy to clean after wearing them all day,” Sidney explained. “The rubber material made it easy to wash off any debris, dirt, and mud. I love these boots because they are so versatile and lightweight that I can wear them from the spring season until the fall and doing so many different activities.”
Throughout her weekend, PRIME offered Sidney warmth and waterproofing to keep her comfortable and dry. They have become her go-to boot for outdoor activities this summer.
Part of the Hunt & Fish Collection, PRIME features an UltraFlex compound for added abrasion, a rippled outsole for slip resistance, and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound for a long-lasting sole. The boots are Made in Canada, produced in Baffin’s Stoney Creek, Ontario factory.
PRIME is Elemental rated in Baffin’s Real-World Testing™ (RWT™) evolution which helps recommend cold-comfort levels associated with Baffin footwear. Foundational and functional performance for the active lifestyle, Elemental rated cold-comfort is achieved with light activity and has been proven by us around the Great Lakes, parks and city streets to provide protection from elements.
PRIME features B-Tek™ Dry Waterproof technology - an impervious to water technology, offering the maximum level of wet protection. Baffin's highest level of waterproofing ensures that your footwear protects from the elements whether mountaintop or lakeside.
